EHRC, NGOs (including UKREN) and human rights lawyers sign a statement about the value of keeping the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the EU as UK law after Brexit

With discussions in parliament on the value of retaining the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights, which the government has proposed not to keep as UK legislation after the UK leaves the EU, a number of organisations (including UKREN) and human rights lawyers signed a joint letter that was published in the Observer on 14 January. The online version of the letter and the article it generate is linked. The letter was also published on the Equality and Human Rights Commission's website.
