The 4 short films about immigration and free movement that were shown at the #OpenGen event are now available online.

Young people have long been shut out of the immigration debate. With the EU elections fast approaching, Migrants' Rights Network has launched the Open Generation platform to amplify the voices of those under-30.

On 3 April 2014 the #OpenGen event explored young people’s attitudes, concerns and opinions on immigration and free movement and featured four short commissioned films by young filmmakers.

These 4 short films are now available online.

  • "My London" by Artur Conka
  • "The Unfamiliar" by Anna Beckmann
  • "Romanians 101" by Nicholas Nazari
  • "Just Blame Immigrants" by Maryam Tafakory
